One-Line Bio

Friendly, wild-haired woman who loves knitting, dogs, flowers and sunshine.

Biography

Not so very long ago I got hooked on this wonderful hobby knitting. It started in March of '05 with a scarf made to wear with a new coat. I loved how it turned out and wanted start another one.

Christmas '05 - the "Year of the Scarf". I made scarves for most everyone on my gift list of 24! Got lots of compliments, loved making them, so was encouraged to learn more.

In 2006 this new hobby turned into an obsession. Took a few classes, joined a few knitting groups, and met with friends to knit in local coffee shops. Made lots more scarves but also branched out to purses and some simple garments.

Now it's 2007 and in addition to the classes, groups and coffee shop knitting I work part-time in a LYS. Can you imagine how much fun it is? Then I'm sure you could guess that many weeks I don't even take a paycheck home (unbeknownest to my hubby).

All in all I'm having a grand time, have met wonderful friends and plan on trying socks, sweaters and lace shawls later this year. Wish me luck!
